The sweet taste of the Pacific Northwest Summer—freshly baked in your own home. You've got to try the TripleBerry Pie, filled with ripe strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries in a handmade buttery crust.
From the Smokehouse, travel South across Deception Pass Bridge to beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington. Halfway down the island is Greenbank Farms, the home of foodie destination & local favorite Whidbey Pies. They still make everything by hand: portioning the dough, mixing the fruit, filling the shells and crimping the top. Each pie has unique variations, and no two of these special pies will ever be exactly the same. Showcasing the bounty of the PNW, these berry pies are their specialty and our personal favorites. Available online exclusively with SeaBear!
About Whidbey Pies
In the 1980s, founder Jan Gunn started her family in Greenbank, Whidbey Island. Rather than commute to the mainland, they opened Whidbey Fish, a cafe featuring fresh seafood and loganberry pies. The market closed in 1996, but Jan's pies lived on through specialty markets. In the early 2000’s the company grew, opening a cafe at historic Greenbank Farm and expanding our wholesale pie program. In 2014, Jan's son, Joe returned from the east coast to help run the family business. Joe and his wife Jessie purchased Whidbey Pies in 2016, allowing Jan to retire after 30 years of pie making. In 2020, Whidbey Pies sold the cafe portion of the business, but continue to make pie at the farm. Today, they are a small, but mighty pie crew–producing over 3,000 pies a week from their two production locations on Whidbey. All handmade, all for the lost art and love of pie.
