The newest addition to our collection of chowders and soups is our hearty Pacific Northwest Cioppino. Cioppino originates from San Francisco with Italian-American influences - bringing together a variety of seafood species, all combined in a hearty tomato broth. Each order comes with the base cioppino mix featuring pieces of Clam, Salmon and Cod, Wild Oregon Pink Shrimp, Dungeness Crab Meat, and Smoked Scallops.

Each Order of Pacific Northwest Cioppino comes with the following ingredients to be combined:

  • 2lbs of Cioppino Tomato Base with Vegetables, Clams and Spices
  • 6oz Fillet of Skinless, Boneless Sockeye Salmon
  • 6oz Fillet of Skinless, Boneless Alaskan Cod
  • 8oz of Wild Oregon Pink Shrimp
  • 8oz of Dungeness Crab Meat
  • 4oz of Smoked Weathervane Scallop

Storing

  • Upon arrival, freeze until ready to prepare.

Preparation

  1. Begin by thawing out all products included in your Cioppino order. We recommend allowing the products to thaw overnight for 8-10 hours under refrigeration.
  2. Pour contents of both bags of Cioppino broth into a large pot - simmer over medium heat.
  3. Dice your fillets of Sockeye Salmon and Cod into bite size pieces. Add to the simmering broth a - let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining Oregon Pink Shrimp, Scallops and Dungeness Crab. Reduce the temperature to low and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
