Each bowl of our Smoked Wild Salmon Chowder is loaded with pieces of wild-caught salmon, tender vegetables and other natural ingredients. This chowder blend is the perfect way to stay warm during any season.

Each SeaBear Smokehouse Chowder & Soup Blend is easy to prepare. Combine with either milk or cream and follow the cooking to directions - each pouch produces enough for two to three servings.

Our Chowders & Soups are crafted with high-quality ingredients, creating a rich and robust flavor profile. Each batch is sealed into pouches as a concentrate to preserve it for an extended shelf life of 4 years. The following is our recommended instructions for preparation:

Empty the contents of the pouch into a deep sauce-pan or pot.
Stir in 1 ½ cups of either milk or half-and-half. (Note: You can use non-dairy milks in your chowder, but because of the thinner consistency, we recommend staying between 1 to 1 ½ cups - keep watch of consistency.)
Heat gently over medium heat, stirring frequently. Once the desired temperature is reached, let stand for 3 minutes before serving.

While we highly recommend our preferred preparation method above, we know microwaving is a quick and convenient preparation method with busy schedules. For microwaving, combine the pouch contents and milk into a microwave safe container and stir until combined. Heat the mixture until hot and at desired consistency. Note: Our pouches are not designed to be cooked in a microwave, make sure the contents have been emptied out in advance to cooking.

We love it! It is

"We love it! It is a very moreish chowder! And so simple to make. Although it is brilliant on its own, of course, we add even more salmon to the chowder with your salmon pouches, and sometimes I add additional frozen salmon from my freezer, and sometimes canned hominy and even canned potatoes mashed up in the pot. We buy it for Emergency Rations because of its years-long shelf life, but we eat it so often we have to reorder long before any expiry date approaches!"
