Enjoy the taste of our premium Wild Alaska Spot Prawns, which are caught, packaged, and frozen at sea by our fishermen in South East Alaska. Renowned for their sweet and succulent flavor, these prawns have a texture often likened to that of lobster, giving them the nickname “lobster of Alaska”. Spot Prawns can also be called “spot shrimp” and are given this name due to the four white spots that appear on their abdomen.

Spot Prawns are a versatile cooking addition. They can be prepared by pan-frying, sauteing, or grilling, and will cook in minutes. Because our Spot Prawns are flash frozen at sea, nutrients are packed in and there are no additives. Spot Prawns are a healthy addition to any meal - high in protein and low in calories.

Storing Your Spot Prawns: Keep them frozen until you are ready to enjoy. Your Alaska Spot Prawns may be kept frozen for up to six months in the freezer. We do not recommend re-freezing once your spot prawns have been thawed - this can have an affect on the flavor and texture.

Thawing Your Spot Prawns: A simple thawing process - just place in your refrigerator overnight and get ready to enjoy.

Cooking Your Spot Prawns: We recommend pan frying your prawns. Prawns may be sauteed in shell or peeled and deveined prior to cooking. Begin by heating 1tbs of oil in a skillet. Place the prawns in a bowl and season. Add the prawns to the heated pan and cook for roughly 2-3 minutes on each side, turning once midway. You’ll know your prawns are ready to enjoy when they turn pink and look cooked all the way through.
