Wild Coho Salmon Profile

Coho Salmon, also known as Silver Salmon, is one of the more understated species of salmon. While Sockeye and King take the fame, coho has its benefits -  featuring a delicious, slightly-sweet flavor, mild red coloring, and plenty of nutrients.

Smoked Salmon Lox are pretty easy to store, prepare and enjoy. Here are our recommendations for the perfect Smoked Salmon Lox: 

Smoked Salmon Lox can be stored in the freezer for up to six months. Once thawed, but unopened, keep refrigerated for up to 30 days. Once you’ve opened, enjoy it within 2-3 days. Each pouch features a chart on the back for use of marking when you have thawed and opened your Smoked Salmon Lox.

This particular method of salmon preparation requires no cooking. Simply thaw for 8-10 hours and serve.
