"The Puget Soundwich - The Best sandwich I've ever had!"

We've heard this from so many customers - this Northwest Wild Salmon BBQ Sandwich is amazing! Wild Alaskan Salmon is hand filleted into portions perfect for a bun, then we add just a hint of 5-wood blend smoke. You simply grill and baste in our tangy Smokehouse Grilling Sauce. We also suggest adding grilled onions (like Walla Walla Sweets) and using a soft sourdough roll, like we do, to create the official "Puget Soundwich".

Please note that the Wild Salmon BBQ Sandwich Fillets come packed two-per-pouch; you'll receive four pouches. Each fillet weighs in at 3.5oz.

Included in each order: 12 oz tub of our Smokehouse BBQ Grilling sauce, and an 8-pack of foil wraps.

"My wife’s family started vacationing at Table Rock Lake, Missouri in the late 1970s, and now over 25 of us make the ‘pilgrimage’ every July from across the country to our favorite summer destination. Each family takes a turn and cooks a dinner for everyone else during the week. Since we are the only family living in the Northwest, for years we have served up a local specialty: SeaBear’s Wild Salmon BBQ Salmon Fillets, shipped on dry ice and ready for the big stone BBQ by evening. It has become a tradition that the whole family looks forward to and enjoys – grilled sandwiches slathered in Sea Bear’s Smokehouse Grilling Sauce, a side of locally-grown, handpicked blueberries, and a nice Pinot Noir – Pacific Northwest heaven in the Ozarks!" - R Hanaway

Your wild salmon fillets have been quick-frozen to lock in their flavor and nutrients, and shipped to you on dry ice. Upon arrival, please freeze or refrigerate. Fillets will keep in the freezer for approximately 3-4 months; once thawed they should be cooked and used within 1-2 days. Once a frozen fillet is thawed, it can be re-frozen though we do not recommend it, as taste and quality may begin to suffer. No fillet should be re-frozen if it has been thawed 2 days or longer.

You can prepare your Wild Salmon BBQ Sandwich Fillets any way you would normally prepare salmon. But, clearly our favorite is on the grill! Brush grill with olive oil PRIOR to heating. Once the grill is medium-hot (you should be able to hold your hand 6 inches above the grill for 5 seconds), lightly brush the top of each salmon fillet with olive oil, and place on grill. Grill fillet until sides begin to turn opaque. Flip once, and continue until fully cooked. To make an authentic Puget Soundwich, slice two large fresh onions in ½ inch pieces, sauté with 3 TBSP of our Smokehouse Grilling Sauce and add cracked black pepper to taste. Once translucent, add remainder of grilling sauce and simmer over very low heat, stirring occasionally; then add fully grilled fillets. Spoon a generous helping of sauce/onion mixture on a great outdoor roll (we like sourdough), top with a salmon fillet and serve.

Try a fruity Chardonnay to complement the smoky flavor of your Wild Salmon BBQ Sandwich Fillets
