Our Chowders & Soups are crafted with high-quality ingredients, creating a rich and robust flavor profile. Each batch is sealed into pouches to preserve it for an extended shelf life of 4 years. The following is our recommended instructions for preparation:

  1. Empty the contents of the pouch into a deep sauce-pan or pot.

  2. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring frequently. Once the desired temperature is reached, let stand for 3 minutes before serving.

While we highly recommend our preferred preparation method above, we know microwaving is a quick and convenient preparation method with busy schedules. For microwaving, add the pouch contents into a microwave safe container and stir until combined. Heat until hot and at desired consistency. Note: Our pouches are not designed to be cooked in a microwave, make sure the contents have been emptied out in advance to cooking.

Spicy bean soup

"My husband liked this. I did not. He thought it was just like chili. The salmon seemed more like chili texture. You don’t add milk to it like the salmon chowder. That being said, there’s not much soup to eat (2 small bowls). I won’t order it again. It gave me heartburn too, and I take PPI daily. My absolute favorite is the salmon chowder, followed by the clam. I plan to have the salmon chowder on hand regularly."

"Just OK. A few beans, small bits of smoked salmon, and a broth that was pleasant, but, can hardly be called spicy. I am a fan of Sambal Olek & Harissa, so perhaps I expected too much in the way of "Spicy". But, I was underwhelmed. I would try it again, to confirm this impression or be surprised in a more positive way. Thanks for asking. gregory"

Spicy white bean soup

"This last batch the spice level was turned down. Perhaps do to much older reviews of being to spicy or while cooking. Still a very good soup to have on hand. Only serves one though, in my opinion."

"Very nice indeed. . I grated some cheese to stir in just before serving and added a dollop of Greek yogurt at the table and. together with a small salad, it was a wonderful dinner. In the past, I just heated the soup and served it and it was always first rate. This time, I experimented and was also pleased with the result."
