Think of the pouch like a “flexible can” – as long as the pouch is not punctured, leaking or opened, the product inside will stay good for at least 4 years. This and the salmon fillets
"This and the salmon fillets were thoroughly disappointing. I was expecting a nice smokey flavor and/or a freshness, but that is not what we received. It was more like canned salmon for the pouches and lightly smoked salmon for the trio box of salmon fillets. The only thing that was good was the non-pepper jerky. The peppered jerky just tasted like you were eating ground pepper. It completely overpowered the taste of the salmon jerky. The salmon fillets were so disappointing that I am no longer giving them to my father for Father's Day and will need to think of a plan B. I am very frustrated since everything was expensive and the stuff I get at the grocery store is better and less expensive."

"This was amazing on so many levels! First of all, my daughter said that the salmon jerky was the best jerky that she's ever eaten in her life. That's a really tall order as we buy A LOT of jerky in bulk. Second of all, I did a blind taste test of your salmon and trout against some other brands' smoked salmon. It was absolutely unanimous with all of my kids that SeaBear was by far the best on every possible way to look at it: 1) it looked the best with the deep rich color 2) it smelled the best (no overwhelming fishy taste even after leaving the empty pouch on the kitchen table overnight) 3) the best mouth feel (soft, moist, delicate) and 4) of course the best taste! This was amazing and I highly recommend it!!"
