All of our Atlantic Salmon comes from ethical and sustainable farms. Atlantic Salmon is known for its orange forward coloring, and its rich and buttery flavor. The salmon species is high in oil content, making it very soft and smooth.

Here is our recommendation for storing and preparing your Smoked European Lox Salmon Schmear:

Each container of schmear should be frozen upon arrival. While kept unopened in the freezer, your schmear will last for six months. Upon thawing, while stored in the refrigerator it will last for 14 days. Once opened, enjoy it within 2-3 days. Your schmear requires no cooking, simply thaw for 8-10 hours and serve.
