Wild Coho Salmon Dinner Fillets are responsibly sourced from the waters of Alaska and prepared with consistency in mind. Mild in flavor with a firm, flaky texture, they offer a versatile option for straightforward cooking. Naturally high in protein and rich in omega-3s, coho salmon supports balanced meals. Each fillet is hand-cut, individually portioned, and frozen to preserve freshness, texture, and quality.

Well suited for baking, pan-searing, or roasting, these fillets cook evenly and hold their structure across common preparations.

Note: Orders may contain fillets cut from the tail end of the salmon.

Wild Coho Salmon Profile

Coho Salmon, also known as Silver Salmon, is one of the more understated species of salmon. While Sockeye and King take the fame, coho has its benefits -  featuring a delicious, slightly-sweet flavor, mild red coloring, and plenty of nutrients.

Your Wild Coho Salmon Dinner Fillets will arrive to you frozen over dry ice. For storing, place in the freezer or refrigerator. These fillets will maintain their freshness for 3-4 months while frozen. Upon thawing, each should be prepared within 1-2 days.

To prepare, begin by thawing the fillets - we recommend removing from the pouch and thawing overnight for 8-10 hours in the refrigerator.

Once your fillets have thawed, we believe the key to the best experience is taking your time and going slow. Slow cooking will lock in more flavor and support the best texture. You’ll know your salmon is ready when it turns from translucent to nearly completely opaque. Here are our guidelines for baking and grilling:

  • Baking: Preheat the oven to 275°F. Brush a baking tray with olive oil and place skin-side down. Let bake for approximately 20 minutes.

  • Grilling: Before heating up the grill, brush the grill and fillets with olive oil. Bring the grill to medium-hot and place the fillets on the grill skin-side up. Grill until the sides become opaque and flip once until fully cooked.

Very Good

"Packaging was very good and the fillet tasted good except for a very thick skin and a lot of dark meat - not much left to eat after discarding the inedible parts"

Very Mild & Delicious!

"I was looking for a mild wild salmon, so I tried SeaBear's Coho. It was very moist and mild - just what I was looking for. I shall certainly buy it again. As always, the fish arrived in perfect condition. I bake mine at 400 with a pile of fresh dill on top. Delicious!!"
